Our Story

Fundamentals of Learning Children Academy Inc is a highly regarded daycare center located in Dolton, Illinois. Under the leadership of Director Lisa Dansby, who brings over 29 years of experience in the Early Childhood field, our center provides a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow. Lisa’s passion for working with children led her to take over the business 5.5 years ago, having previously operated a successful home daycare.

At Fundamentals of Learning Children Academy, we pride ourselves on maintaining a low child-to-teacher ratio, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention and care they need to thrive. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for every child who walks through our doors.

We strive to create an atmosphere where children feel safe, loved, and valued. Our curriculum is designed to encourage exploration, discovery, and creativity, while also fostering important life skills such as communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking. This is a Wonderful daycare center. My kids love it here so far. The staff are friendly and have a schedule in place for each age level. The center is always clean and they feed the children healthy, balanced meals. My kids always have good things to tell me upon pick up. The other children that Attend the daycare are so well mannered and the environment is almost always peaceful and quiet.
